Established as Holland Barrs Planning Group in 2000, this office was founded as a planning consulting firm specialized in making sustainability real for businesses and communities. HB Lanarc was the result of a 2008 merger of two planning and design companies - Holland Barrs Planning Group and Lanarc Consultants - combining strengths to meet the growing demands of sustainability. HB Lanarc joined Golder Associates in 2011 to bring clients a broader service package built around advancing sustainable communities. Our team has a diverse range of services including community planning, green building policy, development planning and approvals, urban design, development of green rating systems, organizational development and public process.
